Teen Makeup Camp
Welcome to a new and exciting TEEN MAKEUP CAMP designed for 12 to 16-year-olds! This camp is the perfect opportunity for your teenager to have fun 'playing' with makeup while learning new makeup techniques and exploring their creativity. Each teen makeup artist will have the chance to experiment with different makeup looks and styles, while being guided by a qualified professional makeup artist. Enrolling your teenager in this makeup camp is a great way to keep them engaged and entertained while expanding their skills and knowledge. Camp Details:
Where: Love Rara, 12-14 Justice Street, Aberdeen, AB11 5HR
When: Over four consecutive Thursdays (18th Jan, 25th Jan, 1st Feb & 8th Feb 2024)
Time: 5:30pm to 8:30pm each day
Value: £200 **
Included: Professional brush set, decanting palette and spatula (which each participant gets to keep), makeup products for use when creating looks during the camp, all necessary consumables, notes and facecharts. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
(**Note: If you do not wish to include the brush set the total camp cost will be £160, however, every participant must have a suitable brush set to work with during the camp.)

Please note: This is not a formal course and will not result in any type of qualification. Each participant will receive a 'Certificate of Participation' on the final day of the camp.

Day 1
Theme:
Natural Makeup
Learn good hygiene practices, identifying face shape, skin type and tone for each participant. Understanding natural makeup and what products to use specific to each teen. Creating a natural makeup look on themselves and discussing how to bring this from a day look to a night look.
Finished looks will be photographed.
Discussing the elements of the 1950's look and how it has impacted the current trends. Carrying out a basic 1950's inspired look and focusing on eyeliner and red lipstick application.

Day 2

1950's Makeup
Day 3
Theme:
Glam Makeup
Discussing and identifying eye shapes. Understanding the elements of a glam look. Carrying out a glam makeup application while focusing on product placement for individual eye shapes.
Also discussing application techniques such as blending, balancing your look etc.
Finished looks will be photographed.
Day 4
Theme:
Festival Makeup
A theme dedicated to the fun of makeup, this is all about honing imaginations and expressing creativity to it's fullest potential. Festival makeup facilitates use of many aspects of makeup such as bright colours, glitter and graphic liners to name but a few.

Who is this camp for?
This camp is best suited to young people between the age of 12 and 16 years who already have a keen interest in makeup and enjoy doing their own makeup. It is an opportunity to try new looks, test out new products and pick up some new tips to help elevate their makeup skills. It will be a relaxed environment to enjoy 'playing' with makeup with some structure and guidance. There will be only 8 spaces available for this camp so as to ensure that there is enough time for me to assist with the look and any challenges that come up for each young makeup artist.
(No previous experience or formal training required but a keen interest in makeup is beneficial.)
