- Let's get personal! -

Hi, I'm Christine and I'm a professional makeup artist and hairstylist but first and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I'm extremely blessed with three incredible children; my daughter is 8, my eldest son is 4 and the newest addition to the family, my youngest son is 1.

I am originally from Ireland but moved to the north-east of Scotland in 2016.

For me, the road to the beauty industry has been a meandering one, changing career direction many times. Some of my previous jobs included air traffic control assistant, facilities management supervisor, car sales, lab technician and a few more random jobs along the way.

- The Road to Happiness -

I began my hair and makeup journey 8 years ago, immediately after I had my first child and initially intended for it to just be a hobby and provide some ‘me time’ but quickly realised it was much more than that! Fast forward 8 years and 2 more children later, and my journey has included... becoming a fully qualified makeup artist and tutor, manager at one of Ireland's leading makeup academies (VanityX Makeup Academy), work published in many Irish publications and media projects, working as a bridal hair and makeup specialist and establishing my own freelance makeup company. Alongside makeup artistry, I also trained in hairstyling and have mastered bridal hairstyling to a high standard which is now one of my favourite creative outlets. I am currently a member of the Kristina Gasperas Online Academy and a student with Cara Clyne's online 'Hairboss University'.

Over the years, I have worked on various media events and publications in Ireland, such as Irish Newspapers, Magazines, TV programmes, fashion outlet advertisements and the Miss Ireland Pageant events and their associated advertisement material.

I was incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to do the makeup for the official Miss Ireland shot in 2013 and 2014 and the hair in 2015, while representing VanityX.

I have had an incredible journey so far within this industry and love every transformation and every gasp of excitement when the hair or makeup is revealed. I especially enjoy witnessing the shift in confidence in my clients when my work helps them feel amazing. Most importantly, they feel comfortable with the makeover as it enhances their beauty rather than creating a mask with makeup or a severe hairstyle.

I look forward to what the future will bring and to meet many more clients, models and brides and using makeup and hairstyling to empower them to be the best version of themselves for their special occasion or event.
